Hand Block Printing

A craft carried through generations, where every pattern begins with a human hand.

Each design is traced onto Shisham wood and slowly carved using a hammer and nail. The finished block is then inked and pressed onto the fabric by hand. Where multiple plant based organic colours are used, each requires its own block — each impression carefully aligned through years of practiced skill.

There is no machine determining the next impression. The artisan does.

A slight shift in pressure. A subtle variation in placement. A difference in colour.

These are not imperfections to be corrected. They are the marks of the human hand.

From carving and colour preparation to printing and finishing, many skilled hands bring each piece to life.

Hand Screen Printing

Hand screen printing is a craft of precision, patience and rhythm.

Each design is built by hand, layer by layer, with colour drawn through a carefully prepared screen. Each layer must be precisely aligned, with the artisan's eye guiding every movement and controlling the pressure.

What appears effortless in the finished fabric is the result of practiced hands and years of repetition.

No two impressions are perfectly identical. Subtle variations in colour, pressure and placement become part of the character of the cloth.

Hand Chain-Stitch Embroidery

Before the jacket takes form, the embroidery begins.

The design is first traced onto cotton by hand, creating the guide for each motif.

Then comes the movement.

The artisan works with both hands and both feet in constant coordination — one hand turning the machine's lever, the other guiding the fabric beneath the needle, while the feet keep the machine in motion.

Once the embroidery is complete, the fabric is cut into panels and carefully assembled into the finished jacket.
